Memberships
Ancestry family history memberships give you access to the world’s largest collection of online family history records and a growing network of public family trees. Most people use these resources to build their family trees beyond what they already know. For example, with AncestryDNA, you can see whether your matches have family trees and records relating to your family, and with a family history membership, you can view the trees and records. These trees and records could help you learn new details about your relatives. Access to advanced DNA and family history tools not included.
Ancestry® Pro Tools gives you access to advanced DNA and family history tools designed to improve your tree’s accuracy and showcase the people in your tree like never before. Separate Ancestry® family history memberships required.
Link your tree and discover more
To access some match relationship tools (matching surnames and birthplaces, common ancestors, and ThruLines), you must have an Ancestry family history membership, build a family tree, make it public, and link it to your test.
