You can delete a family tree or people from your tree one at a time (either from the tree view or a person’s profile page). Deleting someone from a tree will also remove them from any networks they are part of.
To prevent accidental deletions, an entire tree branch can’t be deleted at once. If you're missing a tree or branch, see Missing Family Trees for help.
If the person you delete has relatives in the tree who aren’t linked to anyone else, those relatives will remain in your List of all people and can be reattached later.
For duplicate people, it’s best to merge them instead of deleting one to keep all of their information and relationship connections.
