Living people are hidden from public view and don't appear in Member Connect.

Connecting through Member Connect

1. In your tree, click on a person, then click Profile in the menu that appears.
2. In the top-right corner of their profile page, click Tools and select Member connect.
3. On the Member Connect page, click the Suggested Connections tab.
4. You’ll see a list of people who likely have the same person in their trees. To save a tree on the list, click Connect. After connecting the trees, the trees  will be shown as a comparison, identifying which facts are Different and New. To compare your tree to theirs, click Compare (next to the profile name on the left side of your page). 

Disconnecting a member connect connection

1. Click on the person in your tree you're connected through and select Profile in the menu that appears.
2. From their profile page, click Tools and select Member connect.
3. On the Member Connect page, click the Connections tab.
4. In the Connections tab, click Remove, next to the Member Connect name.
