About cache and cookies
Ancestry is a dynamic site that's updated frequently, so it's important to clear your temporary internet files (cache and cookies) and allocate enough space for storing new temporary files.
If your cache isn't cleared, your phone or tablet may try to load the previous version of a page rather than the current one. If you have insufficient space for your cache, you may experience freezing or slow loading times. And if your cookies are not removed regularly, your browser may attempt to log you into websites using old or invalid information. Deleting your cookie files will require that you manually sign in to Ancestry again to regain access to your account.
